TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR & SLOPE ASSISTANT

We are now looking for a Trainee Instructor & Slope Assistant for next season.

Job Description

As a Suffolk Leisure Park Instructor your will main responsibilities will be instructing skiing and/or snowboarding, from beginners through to improvers. You will also be required to assist in the day to day running of the business.

Life as a Suffolk Leisure Park Instructor is really great fun but it’s also a lot of hard work. Although you get to spend time on the hill and enjoy the atmosphere of a ski centre, you also need to be ready to deal with a variety of work in an often challenging environment.

Your work will involve conducting welcome talks, slope maintenance, dealing with queries, taking customer bookings, sending out confirmations, performing regular site safety checks, as well as supervising and facilitating a number of activities. Suffolk Leisure Park Instructors work long hours and will often be faced with demanding situations that require a mature and professional manner.

We're looking for well organised, practical people with bags of energy and enthusiasm to join our winning team, good people skills are vital and the ability to ski or snowboard to a good level would be beneficial.

Requirements

Experience communicating with customers.

The ability to problem solve efficiently & effectively.

Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner.

Flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to any situation.

Ability to ski or snowboard confidently.
