Attendance to these sessions is by strict invitation only and is aimed at skiers with the desire to take their skiing to an advanced level. Pupils will be coached in slalom training and the levels of skiers will range from basic parallel turns with introduction to slalom poles up to national racers.
The first Saturday of every month the Viking Racing Club organize a monthly Blue Ribbon race so that each racer gets the chance to see their improvement against other members of the team. Helmets must be worn when skiing through slalom courses, these are available to hire.
THE VKINGS SKI RACE TEAM
The Vikings are a race club established within the ski centre and aims to promote all levels of racing. During the summer months the club competes in the Eastern Region Summer league races held at various slopes across the region.
Membership to Vikings is £15 per person, membership runs from January to December.
