Kindergarten Ski Play

The Ski Play area is a small zone set aside for 4 to 6 year olds to become familiar with skis and boots, to learn side stepping and sliding, with parents and family in full supervision of their children.

Due to the nature of dry slope matting small children find learning to snowplough quite difficult and falling over very awkward & uncomfortable, which is why the Ski Centre will not offer formal lessons to the under sevens. The kindergarten area uses a carpet style mat the is softer to fall on!

Kindergarten is offered at £5.00 per half hour session
 

Race Training

Calling all would be racing stars, come and have a go at our race training, it’s your chance to take your skiing to the top & beyond. Open to children over 7 years that can ski with confidence from the top of the main slope.

Sessions are on Saturdays from9.00am until 10.15am

And on Monday from 6.30pm until 8.00pm

They are great fun and you can progress on to taking part in local and National races. The race team have their own club called The Vikings, more info can be found at www.suffolkvikings.com

Saturday Workshop

Open to 7 – 15 year olds at a cost of £10.00 for non members and £7.50 for members
Instruction and coaching on a supervision basis, with the emphasis on safe learning through games and tasks.

No booking required. As children progress they will be advised to attend an earlier session, and eventually the opportunity to join the Suffolk Vikings Racing Team.
